The funeral was the most beautiful Mass I have experienced.
A Funeral Mass for a baptized infant is called the Mass of the Angels, there is no vigil because the Church sees no need.
Matthias was without sin and in no need of prayers.
It was our joy to celebrate the life of our son with the generous people who filled the church. How better to thank God for his beautiful life than to be grateful for the outpouring of love and support from our community.
It was hard for some people to grasp our reaction.
We understand, they didn’t get to experience the blessings we experienced and still experience.
